# Terms of Service https://previewsmith.app/terms/ Last updated: 2026-08-09 These terms are an agreement between you and Delightful Apps PTY LTD ("we", "us") covering the PreviewSmith app for macOS, the separate Preview Helper app, and the website at previewsmith.app. ## 1. Terms By downloading or using PreviewSmith you agree to be bound by these terms, by all applicable laws and regulations, and you agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, do not use the app. Where PreviewSmith is distributed through Apple's App Store, Apple's [Licensed Application End User License Agreement](https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies. If anything here conflicts with Apple's terms, Apple's terms win for that point. ## 2. Use License We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use PreviewSmith and the Preview Helper — for your own work or your business — on Macs you own or control, in line with these terms and the App Store terms. This is the grant of a licence, not a transfer of title, and under this licence you may not: - redistribute, resell, rent, lease or sublicense the app or the helper; - decompile, reverse-engineer or attempt to circumvent the licensing of either app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law; - remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the app, the helper or the materials on this site; - separate the Preview Helper from PreviewSmith and distribute it as a standalone product; or - mirror or rehost the app, the helper archive or its version manifest on any other server. This licence terminates automatically if you violate any of these restrictions. On termination you must stop using PreviewSmith and delete any copies you hold. We keep all rights in PreviewSmith itself, including its name, icon and code. ## 3. Your Content and Credentials Your Xcode projects, your SwiftUI previews, and the screenshots and marketing images PreviewSmith composes from them are yours. We claim no rights over them. As described in the [privacy policy](/privacy/), they stay on your Mac unless you upload them. You are responsible for the material you generate and publish — that it is yours to use, that it accurately represents your app, and that it complies with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines and Apple Developer Program agreements. Uploading requires you to supply an App Store Connect API key, held under an App Manager or Admin role for writes to succeed. You are responsible for keeping that key secure and for everything done with it through your account. Revoke it in App Store Connect at any time; PreviewSmith will simply stop being able to read or upload. ## 4. Subscriptions PreviewSmith offers a free tier and a paid PreviewSmith+ tier, available monthly or annually. Where subscriptions are sold through the App Store, Apple handles payment, renewal and refunds: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings, not through us. Refunds are at Apple's discretion under its own policies. We use RevenueCat to validate your purchase with Apple and to determine which tier the app should unlock. What RevenueCat receives is described in the [privacy policy](/privacy/). We may change pricing. Changes never apply to a subscription period you have already paid for. ## 5. Acceptable Use Do not use PreviewSmith to produce or upload material that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that misrepresents an app to people downloading it. Do not use it to interfere with Apple's services or with anyone else's account, and do not use its App Store Connect integration to reach an account you are not authorised to access. ## 6. Availability We aim to keep PreviewSmith working, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. PreviewSmith depends on Xcode, on Apple's App Store Connect API and on the Preview Helper; if Apple changes any of them, some features may stop working until we can update the app. We may modify or discontinue features over time. ## 7. Disclaimer PreviewSmith, the Preview Helper and the materials on this site are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Delightful Apps PTY LTD makes no warranties, express or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, we do not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of PreviewSmith or of the materials on this website, or otherwise relating to such materials or to any sites linked from this one. ## 8. Limitations To the extent permitted by law, in no event shall Delightful Apps PTY LTD or its suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including, without limitation, damages for lost profits, or for lost or corrupted data, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use of or inability to use PreviewSmith, even if we or an authorised representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for PreviewSmith in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded by agreement. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you. ## 9. Accuracy of Materials The materials appearing on previewsmith.app could include technical, typographical or photographic errors. We do not warrant that any of them are accurate, complete or current, and we may change them at any time without notice. We do not commit to updating them. ## 10. Links We have not reviewed all of the sites linked from previewsmith.app and are not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply our endorsement of it. Use of any linked website is at your own risk. ## 11. Termination You may stop using PreviewSmith at any time by deleting it. We may end this licence if you materially breach these terms. Cancelling a subscription is done through Apple, as above. ## 12. Modifications We may revise these terms at any time. Material changes are noted in the [changelog](/changelog/) and reflected in the date below. Continuing to use PreviewSmith after a change means you accept the then-current version of these terms. ## 13. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
